I have been doing them for almost two years, on and off, and I love them. I think they are fun, motivating and a great way to make new friends! I hosted my first Diet Bet almost 2 years ago, and have done a few since. But this month, instead of hosting one, I am participating in one!
Yep! One of my favorite trainers, Shaun T, is doing a Diet Bet and I joined! I have never done a Diet Bet with such a big pot, but I love Shaun T and I am excited about the live web workouts!
The way they work is you bet $30 that you will lose 4% of your starting weight in 4 weeks. You weigh in and out (all verified through the website so Shaun T and I won't see it) and if you succeed, you win! All the winners split the pot, which is a PRETTY HUGE pot right now!
I love the community you get in a Diet Bet. There is a wall within the bet where you can share your struggles and triumphs, as well as get support from other diet betters. And who doesn't love the opportunity to win money while losing weight?
