The Plan

I have been back on track for 2 weeks now, which feels awesome, so I decided to create a plan for September. First- I can't believe it's September already... Where did this year go?? Anyhoo- the plan!

Starting Monday I am starting the 21 Day Fix. It's a meal plan with portion control and 30 minute workouts. I am actually doing like the 28 Day Fix because I am doing the last 3 weeks with an awesome group of women, but I don't want to wait :D

On top of that, I am starting C25K again. Maybe. I hate that plan, but I am going to start running again. My plan is to run at least a mile first thing in the morning 5 days a week. The weather is getting back where I like running outside and I just miss my feet on the pavement. I have also started a Sunday Running Club in my area so I will be running with other ladies on Sundays. So that should get me through September and I will reassess after that. I have been reading Chris Powell's book so I am carb cycle curious, but I am still researching.

I have a weight loss goal for this month and I know I will crush it if I stick to the plan!

OH and I am also doing another Diet Bet starting on my birthday, September 10th. We lost almost 450 lbs in my last Diet Bet (that just ended) which is AMAZING! I can't wait to see how we can do for this one!

  1. Good luck with your goals! I love the DietBet concept. I'm in the second month of a Dietbet right now. I like that I can catch up if I need to, as I'm getting ready to have surgery so it could hinder my workouts!

  2. So women's health has an incredible beginner's 5k training plan. I have done it twice all the way through, and I loved it so much. I tried C25k thinking it would be similarly awesome, and it wasn't so much. So if you're hating C25k, you might want to look into the WH plan!

  3. The theory of c25k (if you are taling about the NHS plan I think you are) always sounded good to me, but the woman's voice on the podcast used to drive me bats. Yeah, that one didn't last long, and nearly resulted in me throwing my ipod in the canal...

  4. Best advice I can give you for planning your runs is to run half the distance away from your house. Run a half mile away from your house, turn around and come back and you've run a mile. No way around it.

  5. I hated C25K too. So I just ran to a certain point or a certain time marking. Gotta do what works for you, and if C25K isn't working, find something else that you like!

    I think if you want to run you don't necessarily need to use the C25K plan if you don't like it. Just listen to your body and run farther/longer than you did the time before. You will get to running more and more in no time flat!!
