New month, new goals

Happy November everyone! I am excited to start a new month in a new weight decade! It has been a LONG time since that happened!! Since the ball is finally rolling again, I want to set some goals for November!

  • I am going to start training for a half next year, so my goal is to complete the first 4 weeks of C25K. 
  • I also want to lose 4% of my weight again this month. I may or may not join another diet bet. 
  • I am going to keep Aquatober going! I kicked ass in October and I definitely attribute that to my weight loss success. 
  • There is another race I am seriously considering next year that will require a lot of cross training. And since cross training will help with my half, I am more than happy to start hitting it hard. I am scared shitless about this other race, so I am still trying to wrap my head around it. But I have some really supportive friends egging me on, so I will probably announce it next week or so. But I can hardly say it out loud, let alone in text that I am actually going to do it. gah! So scary!
Sorry to be captain vague! 

What are your goals this month? Can you believe there are only 2 months till 2014!! Lets make them count!!

  1. great goals! one of my goals this month is to start drinking water.. for some reason I only drink water when working out then not for the rest of the day. I know it's bad but I'm just not a fan of water for some reason.

  3. Those are fantastic goals! I just finished my 1st half marathon and it was the hardest thing I have ever done, but I feel so accomplished! I wish you the motivation to kick some running booty!

  5. Our goals are so similar! I want to drink more water, restart 5K training (have you tried "Zombies, Run!" ? It is similar to C25K, but I find the storyline, pseudo-role playing scenario a little more motivating). And I want to lose another 4%. I'm in your current Diet Bet. I'm thinking about hosting one for the first time, but not sure if there would be enough interest. If not (or even if so, since you're allowed 2 at once) I hope to join yours if you start another. Keep up the great work! You can do it!!! Super intrigued by the mystery race, too, by the way.

  6. Water is SO important for wait loss! Good for you! I try and fit in 3 litres a day and I definitely think it keeps me feeling "fuller," so I eat and crave less.

    Can't wait to hear what half you signed up for! ;)
