How do you do it?

How do you stay focused when you don't feel good. I mentioned last week that I was having abdominal pain issues and they aren't really going away, so my question is HOW do you stay focused when you feel like crap. Because it is hard!

I am not really hungry, but I know you have to eat SOMETHING.

And the last thing I want to do is go to the gym.

So that's kinda where I am at. Thoughts?

(Sorry to sound all complainy, but I am just curious. Any tips or tricks on making the most of this time while I wait to figure out what is ailing me?)

  1. Are you going to the doctor my love? I would say don't worry about it until you go. Just do what you can but don't over stress yourself about it until you figure out what is wrong. You don't want to hurt yourself more or anything! XOXO

  2. Find something that you can do while doing something you like... When I am feeling really lazy I will default to walking / running / stationary bike with a book or audio book. When I listen to books I run slower and don't feel like I'm pushing it really. Plopping yourself on a treadmill and walking / walking on an incline while watching TV is a great way to push through.

    I will also do 8 minute abs / buns / arms / butt if I really don't feel like thinking at the gym!


  3. When I had my cold last month, for the entire month---I truly "fed" the cold and couldn't find motivation to do nothing else. So now I'm turning to all the wonderful blogs to get it back!! Get to feeling better and you will be back to your old routine faster!!

  4. I almost always just push myself through knowing that, after a workout, I have NEVER said, 'Gosh, I wish I had not done that.'

  5. eat something light and not calorie loaded while you aren't feeling the motivation to work out. Try to go for a walk or something that gets you moving that isn't too strenuous.

    Have they ran any more tests?
