I was reading my daily blogs when I saw Skinny Meg was having a breakfast food link up! Sounds easy enough, I am gonna join that!
Before a workout, I almost always eat a piece of wheat toast with peanut butter and half a banana. I had no clue that Skinny Meg ate that too, so I feel way more validated in that decision. :D
After a workout, around 8-9am I have breakfast! My go-to's are oatmeal and yogurt and granola.
I like to use old fashioned oats and make them on the stove according to the package, and I add a tablespoon of Hemp Hearts and Chia Seeds to each bowl. A little bit of honey, a pinch of salt and I am in oatmeal heaven :D
For yogurt I take plain greek and add strawberries and blueberries, and a light drizzle of honey. If you find plain greek yogurt to be too bitter, try the vanilla kind.
I am pretty boring so I don't really switch up my breakfasts.
