Weekly Goals Check in 3-11

It's time to check in on our goals from last week! I definitely think having this accountability kept me on track. I am excited to see how you all did with your goals this week too!

My goals for this last week were
1. To get out of the 250's
2. To get in more cardio, and
3. Eat at home.

As you saw from my weigh in last week, I wasn't going in the right direction to get out of the 250's by today, so that one was a no. I did get a little more cardio in, but not quite the full 90 min so I am calling this one a kinda. For the last one, we actually did pretty well! We definitely ate out less this week and even tried a few new recipes (like hand rolled sushi!)

This week my goals are:

1. Lose 1 lb. I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but I need to get back on the losing track so I am starting slow.

2. Make my last week count. My time with Commit to Fit ends this week. I am going to make the most of every single work out.

3. Track, track, track! I am ready to just get back in the habit of tracking. Good or bad, if I bite it, I will write it. I got some really helpful hints from my post on thursday and I can't wait to try some of them out. My plan this week is to track in the morning everything I plan on eating, then editing if things change. I will let you know how that goes!

So! What are your goals this week? How did you do with last week's goals? Link up and share! I can't wait to see how you did!

  1. The goal about eating out less (this week?) surprised me. The reason: I often go weeks without eating out, so I would never think about this with goals. I don't find it hard to not eat out. It is much healthier, in general, to eat at home. It is definitely cheaper. Why not save calories and money and use the cash to reward yourself?

    1. Eating out is definitely not something everyone does, and for the most part we don't either. We had just been super busy and haven't been cooking at home as much as we normally do, hence the goal. Sometimes after a long day at work and a LOOOONNG commute home, we don't feel like cooking, which I don't think is outside the norm for a couple who works full time with a 2 hour commute. So really the goal was to make the time to plan to eat at home, and resist the convenience of grab and go places. Believe me, I would much rather save the calories and money, if I could also save the time :D

  2. I totally agree with it being difficult to not eat out, because of how convenient it is!! It is so hard to want to spend up to an hour making a good meal, even though it can be cheaper and healthier. You can loose that last pound Jess! I think you definitely started this week off right with the great bootcamp and dancing. :) I hope tracking goes well! Let me know how that works for you!

    1. Thank you :) I am glad you don't think I am crazy! lol.

This week is going to be good! We did start it off on the right track! :)

  3. I'm pre-tracking this week, too. :) Good luck!

I would love to hear from you! Have something to say? Say it here!
