Weight Watchers 360

So as you may know from reading my "About me" and the "Plan" sections of the website, I am doing Weight Watchers. I LOVE Weight Watchers. I love that it is flexible and that I don't feel deprived. I love that I get support at meetings as well as really easy to use tools. I love that I can still eat cake and stay on track. I love that I can live with it :)

I go to WW meetings every Monday, so every Tuesday I will update you on the meeting and my weight.

So if you are on WW, you know yesterday the plan changed! It seems every December they whip out a new twist on the program to help make it a little bit better. In the last few weeks there have been quite a few changes.

(This is an actual screen shot of my e-tools dashboard)
So this looks very different than it used to, but I like it! Tracking was always there, it shows you your daily Points Plus Target (PPT or Dailies) and your Weekly Points Plus (WPP or Weeklies). Everyone has a different philosophy on using (or not using) the Weeklies, but thats a whole other Oprah.

The Spaces and Routines panels are new! Spaces gives you tips on how to manage your spaces to better work for weight loss. It shows you how to change your home, workplace, travel, social events, eating out and grocery shopping habits to help you succeed! If you have e-tools, I highly recommend you check it out.

The other new part is Routines! It is full of really easy goals that you do every day with the idea of making it a routine. It gives you good habits to create one day at a time :)

At my meeting today we got some new materials too! I am excited to read them all and share what I find with you!

I am excited about these changes and how I can use them to make the plan my own! If you wanna read more about the changes, here is this week's topic run down

Okay, okay. Now the time you all have been waiting for, my weigh in.  I really struggled trying to decide the best way to track my weight on this blog. I have been back on weight watchers for 10 weeks, so I have had a little weight loss progress since then. I thought about picking up where I am in the program and tracking my weight loss from there, but I wanted to be fair and start the same time as Alex. So my official starting weight is 266.0! I lost .6 this week which feels awesome.

So if you are on WW, what do you think of the changes? And if not, do the changes make you wanna join? Not trying to sell it, I just love the program! What are you doing to lose weight?

  2. I have always had a strategy for losing weight from special K and slim-fast to a short stint in vegan eating (which didn't work for me.) My current strategy is to reduce portions, especially at dinner. Dinner is my enemy because I always eat too much. I'm an avid gym goer too. Esther Norine Designs

    1. Good for you! Cutting portions can help a ton! That's really what WW is all about, eating the right amt of food.

Also I wish I could call myself an "avid gym go-er"! What is your secret!!

  7. I'm so excited you posted this. I received and email from WW wanting me to come back (I get them every week or so) and it announced they had changed the plan but didn't really give details I cant wait to see how like it. I absolutely love WW and when i hit a major plateau I plan on going back on it.

oh and congrats on your weight loss :)

  8. I like the new program too. I like the look of it and the routines. I really have to get back into tracking. I am not doing as well online as I was when I was going to meeting, but I don't have time for meetings anymore with a newborn in the house. I am pushing through though and I told my hubby last night that I need him to go back to nit picking everything I eat and do (he used to do it before I got pregnant, but got lax)
    Keep up the good work!
